I’m Michael Shafia. I co-produced Two Distant Strangers, winner of the 2021 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. I produce film, television, commercials, and music videos, with stops in photography, sketch, documentary, and live performance. Producing since 2012.

I’m currently production managing an experiential event in Florida for the watch company Panerai.

Lately I’ve been exploring generative content and what it might mean for the industry. Some of that work lives under the ancillary project index.
